It's all go for the 1st August! DEA's and HI's are in place and HIP's will start with 4-bed homes and above. We expect that HIP's on 3-bed properties will start soon after as the minimum 2,000 number of DEA's required by the Government has already been reached. There is no need to delay introduction any further.

Pack Providers are organized and the HIP industry is ready to move forward. Although the number of Home Inspectors able to produce Home Condition Reports is limited as a result of the move against HIP's and procrastination of politicians, there are HI's in place to provide HCR services.
Smart estate Agents and vendors still see the marketing advantage of having an HCR on their homes. Demand for HCR's is likely to increase over the next six months and if anyone is still part qualified, the message is clear.......qualify and become licensed to work as a Home Inspector. There will be lots of instructions to pick up!
