Since HIP's were introduced in summer 2007, hardly any HCR's have been commissioned by vendors. The Government made the HCR optional; the result of that decision is that the market has failed to choose the HCR as an included part of the compulsory HIP.
As hardly any HCR�s are being produced, this web site, which was set up specifically to assist Home Inspectors with rating decisions, will remain dormant unless the HCR becomes mandatory.
www.homecondition.co.uk was set up specifically to provide Home Inspectors with a professional forum to share condition rating experiences and thoughts. Few HCR’s are being produced nationally; as such the site will remain dormant until and unless the HCR becomes accepted by the property industry or if it is made a mandatory part of the HIP.
